Growing up in a small town outside of Prague, Radka discovered her love for storytelling and photography. In the year 2000, she moved to Paris and started collaborating with numerous international editions of fashion magazines and advertising clients such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Cartier, Adidas, L'Oreal, to name just a few. Besides commercial work in the luxury industry of fashion and beauty, Leitmeritz makes her name on the art scene as a photographic duo Rene and Radka with many solo and group exhibitions in Paris, Florence, Berlin, or New York.
In 2013 Radka moved to Los Angeles to start a new adventure in her career, and her love for cinema and Americana leads her to work more and more with actors in the entertainment industry, taking portraits of Hollywood A-listers for publications such as Vanity Fair, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, or New York Times. Her cover story with Nicole Kidman wins 1st prize of the American Press for the year's best cover.
Her path has recently taken a new turn toward photographing tennis greatest superstars. With less than 3 years under her belt in the professional tennis realm, she's already breaking barriers and knocking down doors by changing the way the world sees players. Tennis fans can see her behind the scene work and intimate portraits of players on social media of WTA and ATP with the tagline #shotbyRadka. Being a big tennis lover and passionate player, Leitmeritz starts in 2020 a new project dedicated to the women's tennis and tennis heritage of Eastern Europe, supported by Porsche and produced by Pavleye Artist Management – Court Supremes.
